The Society & ABSOLUT Art Series, explore the Art Of Fashion with designer Alana Ka'kia at NSC gallery. The Ka'kia collection, appropriately named after the Greek goddess of vice and moral badness, takes inspiration from its namesake's reputation for seduction and trickery through sultry cuts and alluring fabrics. The launch of this alluring and mysterious label, with an intimate installation featuring the line's fashion illustrations, custom cocktails by ABSOLUT and a very special musical performance by Metric's Jimmy Shaw and The Stills' Dave Hamelin and Liam O'Neil, who will perform an acoustic set featuring new music inspired by the collection. A live DJ set from Broken Social Scene's Brendan Canning. A perfect launch for a badass label.
