Massive Attack Vs Burial - Paradise Circus (No Commentary)

Massive Attack Vs Burial - Paradise Circus (No Commentary)
Ripped From a Vinyl Record (No Commentary from Mary Ann Hobbs) ''Inspired by the darkside drum'n'bass of the Metalheadz label, Burial decided at the outset to avoid at all costs the rigid, mechanistic path that eventually brought drum 'n' bass to a standstill. To this end, his percussion patterns are intuitively arranged on the screen rather than rigidly quantized, creating minute hesitations and slippages in the rhythm. His snares and hi-hats are covered in fuzz and phaser, like cobwebs on forgotten instruments, and the mix is rough and ready rather than endlessly polished. Perhaps most importantly, his basslines sound like nothing else on Earth. Distorted and heavy, yet also warm and earthy, they resemble the balmy gust of air that precedes an underground train.'' - as stated by Journalist Derek Walmsley in 'The Wire'. www.massiveattack.com

Try not to have emotions for awhile, try not to get attached. It was best in the end. But then one night she came to her, whispering softly "thanks for your time tonight" and begins to explain that he was not a! wake. He hasn't been awake for a long time. She swears this. Her soft voice grows louder as she insist all of this has been a dream the girl with the blond hair, this house they spent so much time in, and the highway where the crash happened; the one they'd always avoid. The crash had happened but it didn't take just the girls father but her as well. He was in a coma and his mind was holding on to the image of the girl he loved. But this couldn't continue, she knew it was time for him to wake up. She ...
